Found that the fermenter lid was not done up tightly enough. I was able to turn it a 1/4 turn only but this seems to have sealed the fermenter now as I get bubles through the airlock.
Taste test so far seems promising. Slight hop bitterness still prominent but a good malty profile asserts after the initial hop bitterness.
Coulour wise it is probably a little too dark for style but that may change after ageing a bit.
Pitched yeast into wort @ 26c.. I know it is a bit warm but the temp has dropped 4 deg in the last few hours so I figure it will be at the right temp in a few hours and the yeast can get warmed up.
