Multi-user editing

Multi-user editing is designed to give users the ability to collaboratively design and create recipes.

Note you all have to be signed up users to be able to do the multi-user editing.

To enable multi-user editing go to the edit recipe screen, and click on the "Share" tab.

An add user window is displayed that allows entry of comma delimited user name list.

After entering the usernames, clicking on the Add User button will process the list of usernames.

Errors are displayed beside the entry box.

If successful the right hand window will show a list of the users that have been added, with a "Del" button next to them so that they can be removed from the shared list.

Once a user is added on the share list they can:
  • Modify a recipe the same way as the recipe owner can.
  • Remove themselves from the shared list.
  • Add other users to the shared list.


After adding to the shared list, a new area is displayed on the users home page. Listing all the recipes that they have shared access to.

Any recipe that an owner has as shared will be marked with the word [shared] against it in their Brewer's Recipes list on the bottom of the home page.

There are no email notifications at this stage. That will be coming in subsequent releases.
